Growing up in a large family of 9 children, I loved documenting anything and everything we did. I kept a journal and would write in it everyday, keeping my sisters awake with my book light. I was a dedicated scrap-book nerd. If we went to a football game, someone had a birthday party, a cousin got married, when my brother went sky diving, or I read all the minutes in my library summer reading program (nerd alert) - it all went in the scrapbook!
Now that I am a photographer it all makes sense! I didn't only love documenting my own memories but everyone around me! Friends and family alike. I now see how much I was meant to do this for others and it brings me all the joy in the world do get the opportunity to do it with you!
Now that I have a little family of my own I love preserving our story in between bike rides, campfires and shopping trips with my little girl. I'm a firm believer that you can never have too many photos of the ones dearest to you. After all, photographs are the only thing we will have left of them once they pass away.
When I'm not behind my camera you can find me listening to ALL the podcasts, fishing and hiking with my hubby, daughter and energetic Toy Schnauzer, or catching up with good friends over brunch and coffee. I'm always up for a good movie and can't get enough cookie dough.
I will break out in dance at some point during your wedding reception. Don't say I didn't warn you! I love having fun with my couples and making their day the best that it can be!
