This spring day at Carter Plantation in Springfield, Louisiana was close to perfection. Every detail Brooke thought through so intentionally. From the stunning bouquet’s by Flower Basket to the blue bustle tassels as her “something blue”. It all came together so nicely. Brooke spent her morning getting ready with her best friends on one of the prettier days we get to experience in the south. Although a little on the warm side, it was still in perfect condition for their enjoyment and still get to cool off throughout the afternoon.
The enjoyed their sweet first look by the pond at Carter House which always gives off a calming feeling. The sweet chapel they said their vows in was simply perfect. Although their original plans of having a destination wedding were ruined, they didn’t allow that to mess up their day as a whole and enjoying it fully! It may seem cliche, but if that’s not a true representation of marriage to start with, I don’t know what is. Life will always go “off course” or through a wrench in our plans, but if we can stick with our spouse and work through the trials, with God by our side, we will be just fine.
Congratulations to the happy couple! Thank you for including me in your day!
