If you told me that the only engagement session I could shoot for the next few years was in-home lifestyle sessions…I’d be down. These two are seriously the cutest and I had so much fun getting to know them in their home. When Jana reached out to me to photograph their wedding she specifically mentioned that she wanted to have an engagement session in their home, in their “element”. They wanted it to reflect things they would actually do together such as cooking, enjoying each others company and being adorable. Okay, maybe that last one was my assessment of them…but they are a really cute couple. Plus, how fun will this be one day to show their children and their grandchildren! They will be able to share these photos in their home together with those dear to them who never knew them during this time! How cool is that?

I really think we nailed their vision. Their session included Matt cooking steak, sharing some wine together and dancing in the living room.

February 2022 cannot come fast enough! But I also want them to enjoy this pre-wedding time together! It goes by so quickly.
