Natasha and Chance…where do I begin to tell the story of their day? The thing is, their story is so much more than the beautiful day that was their wedding. However, as someone who was coming in from only having met them once for their engagement session and chatting with Natasha over the phone, I learned so much about them from the moments we did spend. Natasha has a big heart, for Chance and for her family. She never expressed concern over the uncertain weather we were experiencing outside (they were married 24 hours before Hurricane Ida made landfall). Although the Venue, Cypress Bend Resort, was well away from the coast, it was extremely windy, and drizzled at the start of the day. Not once did she let it bother her and just embraced whatever God had in store for their day – something I could do myself more often in daily life.
They were wed at the bottom of the steps of Cypress Bend Resort overlooking the water and golf course at Toledo Bend lake. It was absolutely perfect. Chance had such a sweet reaction to seeing his bride walk down the aisle, allergies he said;)
One of the sweetest moments that stood out to me after their wedding is how their friends and family embraced them and shared tears and sweet words in the moments following the ceremony. It touched my heart and was a joy to witness.
