Elizabeth & John, where to begin?! These two are something out of a movie! From the moment they met to the moment they became engaged could be a storyline for a movie in and of itself. To start, John met Elizabeth when they ended up at the same restaurant with a group of friends and although they exchanged pleasantries, they didn’t even exchange numbers until a few years later, when after passing each other in the halls at UL and sharing friend groups, they finally became closer friends and grew from there.

But something that strikes me as so unique, is that John gave Elizabeth a gift a couple of months into their relationship that included a locked box and “open when” letters. She was able to open letters about every month or so but couldn’t open the box until John presented her with the key, and here’s a catch…she had to keep the box with her AT ALL TIMES. What a feat! John brought Elizabeth to a very memorable place in North Carolina, he brought her to the place he remembers knowing that he would marry his girl (SWOON). This is when he presented her with the key to the locked box and when she opened it…she saw that she had been carrying around her own engagement ring! Again, SWOONING!! And then they went on to create magical engagement photos at Afton Villa Gardens together with their sweet pup Ruby, and I am dying over them!

These two have so much ahead of them and I can’t wait to photograph them again for their wedding in January!
