When Hannah first reached out to me about shooting her wedding, I knew this would be a gorgeous, intimate day filled with lots of sweet moments. While it was this, it was so much more! Hannah said she wanted it to be stress free, she wanted to focus on starting their marriage with those they hold closest but also to enjoy every moment at Rip Van Winkle Gardens. Tyler and Hannah both got ready at the cottages and shared the sweetest first look together. Shortly after their immediate family joined them for portraits in the garden. Which was perfect for saving time after the ceremony so they could enjoy good food with their guests at Cafe Jefferson.

One fun aspect of choosing this location was that there are peacocks roaming throughout the property. We got to experience this during Hannah’s bridal session and again during their wedding day. In fact, after they said their vows and shared a kiss, there was a peacock nearby that let out a big cry which everyone got a kick out of! It also happened to be in the perfect position after they walked back down the aisle, we got a picture with the special guest (check it out below). SO FUN!
