I’m not sure I’ll ever be over this beautiful wedding! Alex & Kyle had a gorgeous wedding day from start to finish. The details and effort that were put into this day has my photographer heart happy! Alex got ready at an adorable Airbnb in Rayne that was PERFECT for spending the day with her best girls and close family. It offered great locations for one of the most emotional daddy-daughter first looks I have witnessed, as well as a special (and also emotional) first look with her grandparents. It was difficult to keep from tearing up watching these sweet moments unfold. It is moments like these that I cherish being a “fly on the wall” and witness this family’s bond.
After the ceremony at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Rayne, we swept the newlyweds to the side of the church to grab some daylight portraits of them before the sun set and boy was it worth it! It’s amazing how much can be accomplished in 5-10 minutes when we have good light and a willing (and beautiful) couple!
