When I arrived at Arlington Plantation the morning of Caroline & Bruce’s wedding day, the grounds were so peaceful you could have heard a pin drop. Caroline’s smile was so bright I could feel the excitement as she was getting her hair and makeup done. I knew going into this day that their wishes was for it to be relaxed and intimate which it was, as well as so much more! It was oh so joyful! It was vibrant with life! They shared the sweetest first look together, we took some precious portraits of them then they took a break to cool down! Because it was warm (thanks Louisiana summer heat), but you would never guess it by looking at these images! It began to sprinkle outside before their ceremony but Caroline didn’t bat and eye, instead she said “God is blessing our day!” and He must have been! Because it stopped raining in plenty of time before their outdoor ceremony began.
Throughout their day Caroline & Bruce kept God the center of their day. From the sweet ceremony words spoken by their officiant to their first dance song they chose, they started their marriage off with God as the center so beautifully! They also had some amazing vendors working their day and it really felt like we were all coming together for a good friend (which was basically the case because Caroline feels like a friend now), everything ran so seamlessly!
