I had the pleasure of meeting Gretchen & Brandon just a few months ago although we are basically related (through a few cousins and a marriage – that counts right?).
Between their laid back characters, Gretchen being a school teacher and Brandon a farmer, I can tell they will be a charming little family once their surprise gender baby arrives. When I say laid back, I mean I was getting eaten alive by mosquitos and it seemed to hardly phase these two (I think my pants still have mosquito guts smeared on them). Eeek! I am so excited for them both!
This session was as Brandon’s parents home on the outskirts of Acadiana. I was so thrilled when Gretchen said she wanted to do it on their farm because locations special to the couple makes the images that much more precious.
Once we got most of our pictures done we drove down the road to another location to take advantage of the field that was filled with golden light. I was jumping up and down the whole session like a weirdo! But that’s OK, because I had good reason. They couldn’t have had a better session. I mean, check out that light!!
I can’t wait to meet baby Leger and I know he or she will be cherished like no other.
